Vista Beta2 Experience

Vista Desktop

I installed Windows Vista Beta2 in my desktop pc yesterday. It is simply amazing. Windows Vista comes with a set of new software products introduced in Windows Live Ideas such as Windows Defender, Internet Explorer 7+, Windows Contacts, Windows Calendar and so on. They have also included Windows Media Centre into Beta2 with a new impression. I really like the look and feel which has been given to Windows. The edge of the window border looks like a glass with a blur effect. When you login to the system u can see that they have used a fade in-out effect which looks more nice. The Windows Games which Microsoft start destributing with Windows such as Minesweeper, Freecell,… have taken a new look. According to my knowledge those have been looking the same from Windows 3.1 to Windows XP. There are several other new games as well like Chess. They have removed the properties option in desktop right click and it has been changed in to a new option which enables to configure lot more features. The side bar is more effective than the ones I found in most of the Vista Inspiration packs. At the bottom of the Start button there is a new option for searching applications which list all the applications starts with the string that you type while you type letter by letter. As the bottom line I would like to say that Windows Vista will do a BIG change in the Windows history!
