Next Generation OLED Screens

This is the most astonishing invention I came across in year 2011. OLED, Organic Light Emitting Diode, this is a new type of a LED that has been manufactured using organic compounds. Sony and Samsung has implemented some prototype screens using this technology which even can be rolled. 

Unlike LCD screens OLED screens do not have a back light. Therefore the technology has been smart enough to make the screens transparent.
