Atlas has renamed to ASP.NET AJAX

I heard few weeks back in some articles that Atlas project is going to be renamed to ASP.NET AJAX. Today I just visited asp.net site and saw it has been already renamed. May be the new name will help the developers to understand what it is rather than name it as Atlas. It is a good thing if they expected to have a universal standard naming convention for new technologies that comes up by doing that. This is the definition of ASP.NET AJAX as given in their official site:

“ASP.NET AJAX is a free framework for quickly creating a new generation of more efficient, more interactive and highly-personalized Web experiences that work across all the most popular browsers.”
